Weigh-In

198

Not as bad as I thought it would be.

Ate pretty decently, had some water (not NEARLY enough, but at least it was SOME!), and exercised for 35 minutes on the Wii Fit. I love me some hoola hooping!

I set a goal of getting down to 190 in 3 weeks. I think 8 pounds is pretty realistic for that amount of time.

Long term - I'd like to be down 20 lbs by the time my 10-year high school reunion rolls around. That's just over 10 weeks away.

So there you have it:

Current Weight: 198
Goal Weight by 7/16: 190
Goal Weight by 9/6: 178

Jumping back on the bandwagon

I think it's time to jump back on the weight loss bandwagon and see if I can shed some more weight.

I've continued to bounce around with the weight, much like I have been doing the last year.

It's too late to weigh in now, so if I remember, I'll try to do it in the morning.

My 10-year high school reunion is this September, so I'd like to lose some more weight by then.

Weigh-In

Not good.

But I was expecting this.

Gained 4 lbs back.

I really need to buckle down. I feel off the wagon this past week, and stopped the exercising. I hope to really get back in gear now.

Pictures

To continue to document the progress. Last photo I took was 16 weeks into my program in 2006. I weighed 206 lbs at the time.

Here are my photos, 10 lbs lighter, at 196.

Checking in

Today has been a pretty good day in terms of what I've eaten.

Breakfast:

100 calorie pack cereal, dry (100 calories)
small orange pineapple banana juice (100 calories)
Total: 200 calories

Lunch:

SmartOnes meat lasagna (300 calories)
SmartOnes chocolate chip cookie dough sundae (170 calories)
Total: 470 calories

Not too shabby if you ask me. That's only 670 calories for the day so far.....I tend to like to keep breakfast and lunch minimal, because dinner is kind of a free for all -- not that I overdo it, but sometimes it's things like fish sticks or chicken nuggets for dinner, so I try to just eat sensible portions and not worry about the actual calories as far as dinner goes.

I've also stopped having any snacks after dinner. This is hard for me because I do like snacks at night, but I've been trying to avoid it by going to bed at a decent time, and making sure I get up early enough in the morning to make it to work on time as well.

Friday I started working out again. I'm doing the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs again. I really enjoyed them for the most part, and since I did so well losing the weight in 2006 (and pretty much kept it off!), I figured I'd do that again. I've got the 1 mile, 2 mile and 3 mile workouts. I figured 3 would be too much - and I felt like 1 just wouldn't be enough -- so I went straight for the 2. It wasn't too bad. I did need to put the hand weights down part way through that part, but I finished the entire 'walk' regardless.

I hope to get in at least 3 days of 'walking' a week. More if I can, but I'm not going to beat myself up about it. I refuse to get bent out of shape over it, because I'll get irritated, burnt out and so frustrated that I'll give up and the weight loss will stop.

So, here it is, my friends

It's '08 and I'm trying to do what I resolved I'd do; lose weight.

On the first of the year, I weighed myself. I didn't want to - what with all the holiday eating and the fact that I was expecting the monthly visitor and all.

The scaled stared back at me and said "Yep - you're a fatass!" ... 208.

WHAT?!? It didn't start my new year off very well, even though I had been bouncing between that number and about 10 pounds lower.

Whatever. I ate what I wanted and this week decided it's time to start buckling down a little bit more.

I weighed in last night, and then again this morning since that weight tends to be more accurate. And you know what, I'll take it. As my weight was 3 pounds LESS this morning than it was last night.

So, drumroll please ..... 196! My lowest ever. Well, not ever, but lowest since I hit my all-time high in 2005.

That'll put me in a better mood and improve my outlook towards losing more.
